A home gym in these days of stressful living is hardly a luxury. If you find that your work and other routines don’t leave you with much time to make a trip to the gym, consider installing a private gym off your own in the basement of your home. A home gym will give you the freedom to exercise whenever you want to, and without having to wait long hours for your turn on the equipment! Say goodbye to your Columbus gym!
Your basement needs nothing more than a complete finishing that makes it safe for family members to be converted into a full-fledged home gym. Install some of your favorite gym equipment, and exercise balls and set up a changing stall for quick changes. A bathroom with shower is an absolute necessity. A music system and a DVD player will allow users to watch their favorite exercise videos to listen to their favorite exercise music as they work out.
Turning your Columbus, OH area basement into a workout room can be the most sensible decision you ever made. With the help of a basement remodel contractor, your basement will go from an unused cluttered space to a place where you can work out in ease and comfort. With a home gym at your disposal, you will be more eager to workout rather than putting off exercise for the weekend. A basement home gym is an investment for your health that will pay off in the years to come.

Curious about remodeling a home theatre room in a home purchase. Things I am interested in is the cost of installing new lighting (recessed round lights with dimmer), and running wiring for speakers, projectors, etc through the walls. This would be in a basement room which is already drywalled on all 4 walls/ceiling. Options for building shelving into the wall for electronics would also be nice, as well as the potential for a partial raised floor for additional seating.
